High Efficiency HVAC System (13 SEER Cooling, 90% Efficiency Furnace) - all of our homes have the HVAC system engineered and sized to operate at the highest efficiency | 92 EF Water Heater (Electric) Duct systems sealed with Mastic. (Mastic is glue that provides a airtight seal on duct joints, superior to the standard tape) ENERGY STAR^®3.0 requires a duct leakage test for each home | ENERGY STAR^® Qualified Appliances | ENERGY STAR^® Qualified Bath Fans | "Grade 1" insulation installation - This is the highest standard of quality assurance for insulation install. By minimizing the compression of the fiberglass insulation around windows, doors, stud bays, pipes, wires, outlet and switch boxes, etc., you maximize the effectiveness of the insulation | Foam air sealing between conditioned and non-conditioned space. This includes: window and exterior door jambs, electrical penetrations between garage and main living area of home, any gaps in exterior wall framing, attic floor, fireplaces, cantilevers, etc. The goal is the isolate the conditioned space of the home from the unconditioned space to reduce air infiltration. This reduces drafts in the home and contributes to less strain on the HVAC systems.
